Blake Paul is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from Edmonton, AB. He has been a regular on small and large stages with many different bands and artists including Amanda Falk, Arlen Salte (Breakforth Conference), and new recording artist Linnea Salte.
Drawing inspiration from his own life stories and those of the people he has encountered Blake crafts songs that speak of love, life, and the journey of faith.
A farm boy who grew up in Melfort, SK. He was surrounded by a musical family, and musical influences that pull from the idioms of Country, Folk and Blues. Musicians that have inspired him along the way are: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, BB King, Gary Moore, Lincoln Brewster, John Mayer, Lindell Cooley, and his first guitar teacher Byron Matice.
Blake’s sound is hard to define, but draws the listener in as he blends an electic mix of pop, folk, country and blues.
Blake released the ‘We Pray’ in 2006 another EP ‘Blake Paul’ in the fall of 2009. His newest EP ‘Come Inside’, which saw Blake write, compose, arrange, engineer, co-produce, and play most of the instruments will be released fall of 2010.
Riding upon the success as a finalist for the GMA Cross Canada Talent Search he is currently playing shows all over western Canada.
